ABOUT

About Huel

Bishop Huel O. Wilson is a devoted servant of God whose life reflects unwavering faith, visionary leadership, and steadfast commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Born in Jamaica in 1948, he encountered Christ at the age of eighteen — through a vision of Jesus walking toward him as a young preacher proclaimed the gospel on Rosalie Avenue in Kingston. He answered with a simple yes, and his life was forever transformed.

After his conversion, Bishop Wilson studied at Life Bible School in Jamaica before immigrating to Canada in 1972, where he enrolled at the International Bible College in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He served his apprenticeship at Agincourt Church of God under Pastor Dalton Fraser (1974–1976), then accepted the senior pastorate at Malton Church of God in 1977 — where he would lead the congregation for 23 years, growing it from three members and a guitar into one of the most vibrant churches in the Greater Toronto Area.

From 2000 to 2002, Bishop Wilson served as Administrative Bishop for the Church of God in Eastern Canada. He then returned to the local pulpit as senior pastor of West Toronto Church of God (2002–2014), before answering a fresh call from God in 2014 to found Yeshua Deliverance Ministries — built around a single burden: to win the lost and evangelize the unsaved.

Bishop Wilson holds a Bachelor of Arts from Canada Christian College and a Doctor of Divinity from Vision International University. He has been married to First Lady Clementina Wilson since 1976 — fifty years and counting. Together they have raised two daughters and built a ministry that now reaches across Canada and around the world. He currently serves as Chaplain at West Side Long-Term Care in Toronto, in addition to leading YDM.
